The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a course entitled (press release, its sources and the art of drafting it), in which a number of primary and intermediate cadres working in the field of media and public relations and other media, administrative and humanitarian cadres and holders of a bachelor’s degree in media participated ; to increase knowledge and become familiar with media concepts and employees eligible for promotion.

The lecturer (Muhannad Muhammad Mohsen/Director of Media at the Directorate of Housing) discussed:

– Press release: Getting to know the concepts of the press release/learning about the news industry and its elements and characteristics.

– Sources: Identifying the concepts of media sources/types of media sources.

– News drafting: Journalistic writing / journalistic editing / news models.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to participants.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a workshop entitled (Supervision of Construction Projects) in which a number of supervision engineers in the contractual Directorates and resident engineer Directorates6yyzsza participated, in which the lecturer (Ammar Ahmed Dhahi) addressed:

-Introduction to project supervision and time programming.

-Clarification of site works, quality control and laboratory tests.

-Definition of the initial inquiry/advances, maintenance period, and final receipt.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to the participants.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a course entitled (Legal Transparency and Management Transparency) in which a number of employees at the Directorate’s headquarters and employees of the Ministry’s formations participated. The lecturer (Adhraa Hanoun) addressed the employee’s introduction to the principles of legal transparency, the State Employees Discipline Law No. (14) of 1991, and how to form investigative committees in Directorates and combat manifestations of corruption in state Directorates.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to the participants.

 

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a course entitled (Design of sewage Plants) on (5-9/5/2024), in which a number of engineers at the Directorate’s headquarters and employees from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers participated.

The lecturer (Mr. Dania Maher Jawad) introduced the participants to how to design and evaluate sewage plants, and to learn about the methods of treating the plants and the determinants of the Iraqi law for treated wastewater.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to the participants.

 

 

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a course entitled (Methodology for Auditing Advances and measurements in Residential Complex Projects) on (28/4 – 2/5/2024).

A number of engineers and employees working in the finance and control departments participated in it, and the lecturer (Shaima Mahmoud) dealt with introducing participants to how to audit advances, measurements, and types of engineering contracts.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to the participants.

Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a course entitled (English Conversation) on (21-25/4/2024) in which a number of employees wishing to develop their English conversation skills and translators participated in it. The lecturer (Nour Hussein Kareem) addressed the following topics:

– Speak English correctly.

– Composing and translating sentences in an integrated manner.

– Developing the skill of listening, reading, writing, and improving sentence pronunciation.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to the participants.

 

Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, organized a course entitled (Environment and Occupational Safety) on (14-18/4/2024). A number of employees from the Directorate’s headquarters, ministry formations, and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers participated in it, in which the lecturers, senior engineer (Marwa Wasfi Hameed) and technical director (Munther Jaafar Sadiq), , addressed several topics:

– A definition in the environmental field of good ventilation, sunlight, and planting trees in gardens.

– Awareness in the field of projects about wearing clothes, shoes and belts, and educating workers and employees to prevent accidents.

– Awareness of the field of fires and how to prevent the occurrence of fires by adhering to the conditions and controls in force for the purpose of civil defense, methods of treating fires, how to use fire extinguishers, and doing practical practice.

-Defining first aid and treating the injured in the event of a fracture, bleeding, or fainting, and immediately calling an ambulance.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and awarding evaluation marks to the participants.

 

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a training workshop entitled (The Benefits of Sustainability Techniques in Improving the Quality of Concrete Buildings) on (19/3/2024) in which a number of engineers in the Directorate participated, the lecturer/engineer (Athraa Muwafaq Najeeb) addressed several topics:

– Definition of concrete, its types and uses.

– Reinforcing steel in terms of its quality, how it is selected, and methods of protecting it.

– Sustainable concrete, its features, applications, and the benefits of using it in concrete buildings.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a training workshop entitled (Tax Practice and Tax Accounting) on (18/3/2024) in which a number of employees in the financial and supervisory field from the Ministry’s cadres and formations participated. The lecturer/senior accountant (Naseer Asim Muhammad) discussed several topics

– How to calculate the wages and salaries tax.

– Clarification of all legal permissions.

– Clarifying all annual and monthly calculation rates and retirement deductions.

The workshop included a panel discussion in which ideas and opinions were exchanged regarding tax accounting in all its details.

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Power Point) on (10-14/3/2024), in which a number of employees working in the computer field participated. The lecturer, Engineer (Hassan Kazem Judeh), discussed several topics:

– Introducing and developing participants in using the program to create presentations.

– Learn how to generalize and insert elements into slides.

– Adding animations and transitions to elements and slides.
