The Directorate of Housing organized a training workshop entitled (Earthquakes and their impact on buildings, their sources, measurement, seismic force calculation and recommendations for achieving resistant buildings)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a workshop entitled (Earthquakes and their impact on buildings, their sources, measurement, seismic force calculation and recommendations for achieving resistant buildings) in which a number of engineers in the field of structural and architectural design participated.

The lecturer Engineer (Ruwa Abdul Lateef Abdul Hameed) discussed:

– An explanatory explanation of earthquakes, their causes and methods of measuring them.

– Calculating seismic forces according to the Iraqi Earthquake Code and the American Code ASCE 7_16.

– Determining the seismic design category of buildings (SEISMIC DESIGN CATEGOR).

– Defining the different seismic analysis methods with an explanation of some of them such as the equivalent static method and the response spectrum method and providing recommendations on choosing the appropriate structural system.

 

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled (Unified Retirement Law No. (9) of 2014)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Unified Retirement Law No. (9) of 2014) in which a number of employees from all specialties participated.

The lecturer (Salama Shawaz Jameel), discussed:

– Definition of the Unified Retirement Law (9) of 2014.

– Clarification and explanation of the retirement salary equation.

– Definition and clarification of all paragraphs of the law regarding retirement deductions.

– How to promote the retirement transaction.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to re-review the information and award evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled Access Databases (Beginner / Intermediate)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled Access Databases (Beginner / Intermediate) in which a group of employees working on the computer participated.

The lecturer, Engineer (Saad Basil Abdul Wahid), introduced the participants to:

– The importance of databases.

– Explaining what the program is with an explanation of its contents.

– Creating a simplified program from databases.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and award evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled (Preparing Final Accounts)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Preparing Final Accounts) in which a group of accountants and auditors from the staff participated.

The lecturer, Mr. (Naseer Asim Mohammed) introduced the participants to the preparation of final accounts according to the following:

– statement of cash, advances, deposits and other accounts.

-Cash flow statement with all balance sheet and general budget analyses.

-Explain the concept of the centralized and decentralized system.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and give evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled “High-voltage electrical equipment and networks with a voltage of 33KV and according to the requirements of the Ministry of Electricity and the specifications of the National Electricity”

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled “High-voltage electrical equipment and networks with a voltage of 33KV and according to the requirements of the Ministry of Electricity and the specifications of the National Electricity” in which a group of engineers within the field of electricity and technicians working in the maintenance of all the formations of the ministry participated.

The lecturer, Engineer (Rami Muwaffaq Salman), introduced the participants to the explanation of the power supply stations and electricity supply rooms with the 33KV system according to the requirements and specifications of the Ministry of Electricity, as well as kiosks and rooms.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and award evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled (MySQL)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (MySQL) in which a group of engineers, programmers and IT employees participated.

The lecturer, Mr. (Ali Majeed Hameed), discussed:

– Introducing participants to how to install SQL and deal with cookies

– Creating and dealing with DB, when to use SQL-DB and who needs it

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to re-review the information and award evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled (Electronic Archiving)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Electronic Archiving) in which a group of those who work on the computer participated.

The lecturer, Elham Kazim Salman, introduced the participants to the electronic archiving process and its rules and activating the role of e-governance in the application of electronic archiving.

The course concluded with all participants taking a test to review the information and award evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled (Arch Cad)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Arch Cad) in which a group of engineers from all specializations participated.

The lecturer (Fatima Hussein Hmoud) introduced the participants to the basic principles of the advanced Arch Cad program and trained the participants to use the program.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and award evaluation marks.

 

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled (Occupational Health and Safety)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Occupational Health and Safety) in which a group of all specialties participated.

The lecturers (Munther Jafar Sadiq / Marwa Wasfi Hameed) introduced the participants to the procedures of environment and occupational safety, how to treat fires, first aid, sustainable buildings and how to preserve the lives of employees.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and award evaluation marks.

The Directorate of Housing organized a training course entitled “Basic English Grammar”

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled “Basic English Grammar”  in which a group of translators and those wishing to develop the English language participated.

The lecturer (Noor Hussein Kareem) introduced the participants to the basics of the English language and trained them to speak, pronounce and listen correctly.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and give them evaluation marks.
