Presentation of (Indonesian Audie) Building and Construction Company
Department of Information and Communication Technology in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a presentation via (Zoom) program, in the presence of a number of engineers from Authentication and Projects Departments in our Directorate and the Indonesian company (Audie) specialized in building and construction, with the assistance of Ms. (Reem Khaled) a translator at Division of Relations and Media.
Where the company’s capabilities in executing low-cost housing projects were presented using:
1-Audi container prefab.
2-Audi frame.
3-Audi frame – light steel.
4-Audi panel.
5-Audi panel – lightweight concrete panel.
The axes of the presentation were between the representatives of the company and the engineers of our Directorate regarding the method of execution, the cost, and the duration of the completion of the housing unit, as the company explained that the cost per square meter ranges from $100 to $200 for a period of two weeks for one house.
The aim of the presentation was to exchange experiences and introduce modern, low-cost and environmentally friendly technologies.
The company will be provided with models of low-cost residential house designs to be studied in terms of cost and execution period using the above techniques.

The Directorate of Housing: continues to supervise work on Al-Shinafiyah housing project in Diwaniyah Governorate

The engineering and technical cadres working in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, continue to supervise the work on Al-Shinafiyah residential project in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, which is being executed by Ashur General Contracting Company (formerly Al-Rasheed Company) with a completion rate of 41% and a cost of (43,840,000,000) billion dinars.
The project consists of a group of residential houses (331) house distributed in two models:
-The first model has an area of one house (127.5) square meters and contains three bedrooms, with a number of (203) houses.
-The second model has an area of one house (116) square meters, and it contains two bedrooms, with a number of (128) houses.
Al-Shinafiyah residential complex was built to be an integrated complex in terms of services, as it contains service buildings (primary school consisting of 12 classrooms, market and health center) with the following service networks (pure water network, fire, irrigation, rain water, heavy water, internal and external electricity, and the telephone network) in addition to the external site works (streets – sidewalks – walkways – parking lots) and landscape works (yards – rest areas – gardening – afforestation – furniture and others).

The Directorate of Housing: Organizes a course entitled (Drawing on the Sketchup program)

Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Drawing on the Skatchup program).
The course curriculum was lectured by Eng. (Zeina Habib), Senior Chief Engineer in the Certification and Engineering Consultancy Department, Architectural Designs Division, at the Directorate of Housing headquarters, on Thursday morning, 18/5/2023, with the participation of a number of engineers specialized in this field.
The lecturer touched on the axis of definition and explanation of this program, which is one of the three-dimensional engineering drawing programs, through which engineering shapes are formed and housing and non-housing projects are realistically shown, and it is considered a form of engineering development in the field of housing projects.
The aim of the course was how to use the program in order for the participants to present small 3D projects, and they were evaluated on the basis of that.

Al-Suwaira residential project in Wasit Governorate

The Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, continues to work on Al-Suwaira housing project in Wasit Governorate, with a completion rate of 74%, as the contract cost for the project after the appeal amounted to (69,726,000,000) billion dinars, and the number of housing units amounted to (640) apartment.
The project was designed in the form of multi-storey residential buildings (four floors), with two models of residential buildings:
Type (A) = (40) buildings, (480 apartments)
Type (B) = (10) buildings, (160 apartments)
The residential complex contains public service buildings: kindergarten, nursery, primary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms , (2) intermediate schools with a capacity of 12 classrooms, markets, health center, administrative building and (2) guard rooms with service networks (pure water and fire, rainwater drainage network, heavy water sewage network with heavy water treatment unit, external and internal electrical networks, telephone) as well as external site works (external fence, streets, sidewalks, parking lots) and also contains landscape works (yards and rest spaces, garden organization, afforestation and furniture).

The National Housing Council agrees to the amortization of the remaining amounts for the housing units of the martyrs’ families.

The National Housing Council, headed by the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, the Chairman of the National Housing Council, Mr. Benkin Rikani, agreed at the Ministry’s headquarters and in the presence of the members of the Council from the various concerned government agencies, to increase the payment period to be 35 years instead of 25 years for the included categories, which are the categories of martyrs, widows, displaced persons, the disabled, Non-employee citizens are from vulnerable groups that are granted housing units from the governorates in exchange for reduced amounts, while maintaining a 50-year repayment period for widows.
The Council also agreed to recommend the amortization of the remaining amounts owed by the families of the martyrs for their housing units.

The Directorate of Housing organizes a training workshop on the archiving system

Information and Communication Technology Department in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a training workshop entitled (Archiveing and Tracking Transactions System) on Monday morning 15/5/2023, where the beneficiaries of the workshop were (Office of the Director General _ Office of the Assistant Director General – all departments of the Department).The concepts of the workshop were presented by a working group consisting of (Mr. Sadiq Jabbar, head of Information and Communication Technology Department at the Department ‘s headquarters, Mrs. Fatima Faeq, Mr. Nabeel Abbas).
The work team deals with defining the concepts of the archiving system and tracking transactions from systems that aim to preserve all information, documents, diagrams and all transactions from any emergency, and it is considered a means of secondary copying (backup) of documents that can be returned at any time and when needed, as this system provides a new mechanism for tracking the progress of transactions through which transactions can be completed, and it is also characterized by security and documentation features and the distribution of powers for all stages of work.

With a completion rate of 87%, work is continuing on Al-Dabuni residential project in Wasit Governorate

The Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, continues to work on the Al-Dabuni residential project in Wasit Governorate, with a completion rate of 87%, as the contract cost of the project after the appeal amounted to (36,177,000) billion dinars, and the number of housing units amounted to (255) houses.
The project was described as having two types of residential floors:
Type (A), with a number of (155) houses, with an approximate building area of (130) square meters, with three bedrooms and services.
Type (B), with a number of (100) houses, with an approximate building area of (119) square meters, with two bedrooms and services.
The complex contains public services (primary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms, market, administrative building, guard room, telephone exchange with service networks (pure water and fire, rainwater drainage network, sewage network, external and internal electrical networks and telephone). As well as the site’s external works such as the external fence, streets, sidewalks, parking lots, and landscape works (yards, rest spaces, gardens, afforestation, and furniture).

The senior management of the Directorate of Housing … makes field visits to projects that have achieved an advanced completion rate

Engineer Sadiq Muhammad Al-Fartousi, Director General of the Directorate of Housing , one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, made a field visit to Anah housing project in Anbar Governorate, to see on the ground the stages of the workflow and to stand on the most important obstacles and technical and administrative problems, and to address them and work to complete them on time, since the project is in its final stages where the completion rate reached (98.50%) and it was damaged as a result of the security incidents that were represented by the entry of the terrorist gangs of ISIS and it stopped for 8 years. The complex consists of (524 apartments) in addition to public service buildings (kindergarten _ primary school _ middle school _ preparatory school _ markets _ health clinic _ administrative wing _ mosque _ two guard rooms) and clear water networks, heavy water sewers, electricity networks, and external site works from roads, squares, and gardens.
On the other hand, Eng. (Muhammad Thamer Hamad), Assistant Director General, visited a number of residential complex projects that are supervised by the Directorate in Diyala Governorate, which are Alghalibiah residential complex and the Al-Khalis residential complex, in order to see on the field the stages of work, address problems and obstacles, and find appropriate technical solutions to speed up the completion process.
Alghalibiah residential project consists of (58) residential buildings, each building consists of three floors, and the total number of apartments is (696 apartments), in addition to public service buildings, which are (primary school _ two secondary schools _ health center _ two guard rooms _ markets) as well as external network works and roads , as for the Al-Khalis residential complex, it consists of (30 residential buildings) with three floors in addition to the public services, which are (primary school _ middle school _ mosque _ market _ health center _ two guard rooms) with external networks, stations and other site works.

The Directorate of Housing organizes a course entitled (A course explaining Inclusion Law No. 31 of 2015)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (A course on explaining Inclusion Law No. 31 of 2015 The course curriculum was lectured by Ms. (Athraa Hanoun Aliwi), a senior legal advisor in the legal department at the headquarters of the Directorate of Housing, on Thursday morning, 11/5/2023, with the participation of a number of the Directorate’s employees and the Ministry’s formations.
The lecture touched on several axes, including (discussing the Inclusion Law No. (31) of 2015 and the instructions issued, and discussing the inclusion of the employee and the person assigned to a public service, the value of damages incurred by the public treasury due to his negligence or negligence).
The aim of the course was to familiarize the participants with the main purpose of the employee’s approval and to introduce the objectives and special procedures.
The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to re-review the information and granting evaluation marks to the participants.

In implementation of the directives of the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities and the Director General of the Directorate of Housing, Engineer Sadiq Muhammad Al-Fartousi, the Assistant Director General of the Directorate of Housing, Eng. (Mohammed Thamer Hamad), Assistant Director General of the Directorate of Housing, one of the Ministry’s formations, accompanied by Mr. (Haider Abdullah Abboud), Director of the Legal Affairs Department in the Directorate, conducted a field visit to the residential complexes projects supervised by the Directorate in Wasit Governorate, which are (Al-Suwaira Residential Complex, Al-Aziziyah Residential Complex, Al-Dabouni Residential Complex, and Zurbatiya Residential Complex), in order to see on the field the work stages of these projects and find out the problems and obstacles that impede the progress of work in them and to find the necessary solutions and appropriate (technical and legal) solutions, which contribute to the speedy completion of these projects on the specified dates, especially the projects of Al-Dabouni and Zurbatiya to be completed before the end of the current year.
Zurbatiya residential complex consists of (544) residential houses in addition to service buildings (kindergarten, nursery, primary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms, middle school with a capacity of 12 classrooms, market, health center, mail building and mosque, with service networks (pure water and fire, rainwater network and heavy water sewage network), in addition to the site’s external works (streets, sidewalks, walkways, squares, gardens, and afforestation), the completion rate reached 77.50%.
As for Al-Dabouni residential complex, it consists of (255) houses in addition to public services (elementary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms, market, administrative building, guard room and telephone exchange with service networks pure water and fire, rainwater drainage network, sewage network, external and internal electrical networks, telephone, external site works such as the external fence, streets, sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, landscaping works for yards and resting spaces, organizing gardens, afforestation, furniture, etc. and the completion rate reached 86%.
