With a completion rate of 87%, work is continuing on Al-Dabuni residential project in Wasit Governorate

The Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, continues to work on the Al-Dabuni residential project in Wasit Governorate, with a completion rate of 87%, as the contract cost of the project after the appeal amounted to (36,177,000) billion dinars, and the number of housing units amounted to (255) houses.
The project was described as having two types of residential floors:
Type (A), with a number of (155) houses, with an approximate building area of (130) square meters, with three bedrooms and services.
Type (B), with a number of (100) houses, with an approximate building area of (119) square meters, with two bedrooms and services.
The complex contains public services (primary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms, market, administrative building, guard room, telephone exchange with service networks (pure water and fire, rainwater drainage network, sewage network, external and internal electrical networks and telephone). As well as the site’s external works such as the external fence, streets, sidewalks, parking lots, and landscape works (yards, rest spaces, gardens, afforestation, and furniture).

The senior management of the Directorate of Housing … makes field visits to projects that have achieved an advanced completion rate

Engineer Sadiq Muhammad Al-Fartousi, Director General of the Directorate of Housing , one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, made a field visit to Anah housing project in Anbar Governorate, to see on the ground the stages of the workflow and to stand on the most important obstacles and technical and administrative problems, and to address them and work to complete them on time, since the project is in its final stages where the completion rate reached (98.50%) and it was damaged as a result of the security incidents that were represented by the entry of the terrorist gangs of ISIS and it stopped for 8 years. The complex consists of (524 apartments) in addition to public service buildings (kindergarten _ primary school _ middle school _ preparatory school _ markets _ health clinic _ administrative wing _ mosque _ two guard rooms) and clear water networks, heavy water sewers, electricity networks, and external site works from roads, squares, and gardens.
On the other hand, Eng. (Muhammad Thamer Hamad), Assistant Director General, visited a number of residential complex projects that are supervised by the Directorate in Diyala Governorate, which are Alghalibiah residential complex and the Al-Khalis residential complex, in order to see on the field the stages of work, address problems and obstacles, and find appropriate technical solutions to speed up the completion process.
Alghalibiah residential project consists of (58) residential buildings, each building consists of three floors, and the total number of apartments is (696 apartments), in addition to public service buildings, which are (primary school _ two secondary schools _ health center _ two guard rooms _ markets) as well as external network works and roads , as for the Al-Khalis residential complex, it consists of (30 residential buildings) with three floors in addition to the public services, which are (primary school _ middle school _ mosque _ market _ health center _ two guard rooms) with external networks, stations and other site works.

The Directorate of Housing organizes a course entitled (A course explaining Inclusion Law No. 31 of 2015)

The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (A course on explaining Inclusion Law No. 31 of 2015 The course curriculum was lectured by Ms. (Athraa Hanoun Aliwi), a senior legal advisor in the legal department at the headquarters of the Directorate of Housing, on Thursday morning, 11/5/2023, with the participation of a number of the Directorate’s employees and the Ministry’s formations.
The lecture touched on several axes, including (discussing the Inclusion Law No. (31) of 2015 and the instructions issued, and discussing the inclusion of the employee and the person assigned to a public service, the value of damages incurred by the public treasury due to his negligence or negligence).
The aim of the course was to familiarize the participants with the main purpose of the employee’s approval and to introduce the objectives and special procedures.
The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to re-review the information and granting evaluation marks to the participants.
