The Directorate of Housing organizes a course entitled (Basics of Excel program)

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Basics of Excel Program) from the period (10-14/12/2023).

A number of engineers, programmers and all specialties from within the Directorate and all formations of the ministry participated in it. The senior programmer lecturer (Ahmed Hashem Jassim) discussed several topics in the course:

  1. Get to know the Excel program interface and explain all the main tabs on the program.
  2. Use all mathematical and arithmetic functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and average…. etc
  3. Use the conditional (if) function and apply several examples of using this function.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and evaluate the participants’ grades.

The Directorate of Housing organizes a workshop on energy efficiency and rationalization of consumption

The Directorate of Housing one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities organized a workshop at the Directorate’s headquarters on energy efficiency and rationalization of electrical energy consumption on Wednesday (20/12/2023).

The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness among the segment of employees in the Directorate and the Ministry’s employees about rationalizing energy consumption as a vital type that has an impact on achieving sustainable development and its impact on financial investments and securing the energy necessary for economic and social development.

The engineer in the Certification and Consulting Department (Rami Mowafaq Salman) explained the importance of rationalizing energy consumption and not being extravagant in its use in order to reduce the gap between demand and production and thus increase processing hours. He also touched on an explanation of modern systems to reduce electricity consumption and encourage the construction of environmentally friendly buildings and adopt them in future building designs for Directorate of Housing projects.

 

The Directorate of Housing organizes a training course entitled (Instructions for Implementing Government Contracts No. 2 of 2014)

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Instructions for Implementing Government Contracts No. 2 of 2014).

The lecturer in the session, Mrs. Sajida Qasim Majeed, provided a detailed explanation of the instructions for implementing government contracts.

The course lasted for five days for the period from 3-7/12/2023.

A number of employees participated in it and it concluded with an attendance exam for all participants.

 

The Directorate of Housing organizes a training course entitled (Unified Retirement Law No. 9 of 2014 and First Amendment No. 26 of 2019)

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Unified Retirement Law No. 9 of 2014 and First Amendment No. 26 of 2019).

The two lecturers in the session, Mrs. Faryal Fadel Mahmoud and Mrs. Salama Shawaz Jameel, touched on a detailed explanation of the Unified Retirement Law and its amendments. The course lasted for five days for the period from 3-7/12/2023.

A number of employees participated in it and it concluded with an attendance exam for all participants.

Seasonal influenza vaccine campaign

The Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, received the medical staff charged with vaccinating the Directorate’s employees with the seasonal influenza vaccine, in the main hall at the Directorate’s headquarters. The medical staff has stated that this vaccine is very important, especially for employees, because they are constantly exposed to changing weather, which causes many diseases, including influenza. The doctor supervising the vaccination confirmed that it protects the employee from infection with the virus for a full year, and that the Ministry is always the first to attract the largest number of employees to undergo the vaccine.
