The Planning and Follow-up Department / Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (General Electrical Installations) for the period from (7-11/1/2024) in which a number of electrical engineers and technicians participated at the Directorate’s headquarters, in which the lecturer (Rifat Saleh Ahmed) addressed the definition of employees on how the PCL system works and the installations of electronic circuits.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and evaluate the participants’ grades.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Legal Transparency and Management Transparency). A number of employees at the Directorate’s headquarters participated in it. The legal lecturers (Ahmed Atta) and the first informatics technician (Tariq Kazem) addressed several topics in the course, including defining employees’ duties, the employee discipline law, and his knowledge of administrative matters, including bonuses, promotions, and service calculations. The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and evaluate the participants’ grades.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Basics of Excel Program) from the period (10-14/12/2023).

A number of engineers, programmers and all specialties from within the Directorate and all formations of the ministry participated in it. The senior programmer lecturer (Ahmed Hashem Jassim) discussed several topics in the course:

1. Get to know the Excel program interface and explain all the main tabs on the program.
2. Use all mathematical and arithmetic functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and average…. etc
3. Use the conditional (if) function and apply several examples of using this function.

The course concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and evaluate the participants’ grades.

The Directorate of Housing one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities organized a workshop at the Directorate’s headquarters on energy efficiency and rationalization of electrical energy consumption on Wednesday (20/12/2023).

The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness among the segment of employees in the Directorate and the Ministry’s employees about rationalizing energy consumption as a vital type that has an impact on achieving sustainable development and its impact on financial investments and securing the energy necessary for economic and social development.

The engineer in the Certification and Consulting Department (Rami Mowafaq Salman) explained the importance of rationalizing energy consumption and not being extravagant in its use in order to reduce the gap between demand and production and thus increase processing hours. He also touched on an explanation of modern systems to reduce electricity consumption and encourage the construction of environmentally friendly buildings and adopt them in future building designs for Directorate of Housing projects.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Instructions for Implementing Government Contracts No. 2 of 2014).

The lecturer in the session, Mrs. Sajida Qasim Majeed, provided a detailed explanation of the instructions for implementing government contracts.

The course lasted for five days for the period from 3-7/12/2023.

A number of employees participated in it and it concluded with an attendance exam for all participants.

 

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled (Unified Retirement Law No. 9 of 2014 and First Amendment No. 26 of 2019).

The two lecturers in the session, Mrs. Faryal Fadel Mahmoud and Mrs. Salama Shawaz Jameel, touched on a detailed explanation of the Unified Retirement Law and its amendments. The course lasted for five days for the period from 3-7/12/2023.

A number of employees participated in it and it concluded with an attendance exam for all participants.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a training course entitled (English Conversation – Intermediate Level) for the period from 26-30/11/2023 in which a number of translators and employees wishing to develop the English language participated.

The course curriculum was lectured by Mrs. Nour Hussein Karim.

The lecture touched on several topics, including: –

1- Speak English correctly.

2- Read the sentences correctly and fully and understand the meaning. 3- Understanding vocabulary used in our daily lives.

It concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and give an evaluation of the participants’ grades.

 

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a training course entitled (Learning HTML) for the period from 19-23/11/2023, in which a number of programmers from the Directorate’s headquarters and the Ministry’s formations participated, and the course curriculum was lectured by (Mr. Nabil Abbas Saeed).

The lecturer touched on several topics:

1. The nature of language
2.  Language elements
3. Language tools
4. Color and its work.

It concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and give an evaluation of the participants’ grades.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a training course entitled (Preparing Final Accounts) for the period from 5-9/11/2023, in which a number of accountants from the headquarters of the Directorate and the Ministry’s formations participated. The course curriculum was presented. Mr. Naseer Asim Muhammad Ali, Senior Accountant/Administrative and Financial Department. The lecturer touched on several topics related to the final accounts:

1- Final statements of accounts.

2- The most important differences between the statement of financial position, the general budget, and the final accounts.

The aim of the course was to learn how to prepare final accounts, and it concluded with all participants undergoing a test to review the information and give an evaluation of the participants’ grades.

The Planning and Follow-up Department/Training and Development Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, in cooperation with the Training and Development Center, organized a training course entitled (Transfer, Placement, and Adding a Service) for the period from (10-14/9/2023).
The lecturer in the course (Mr. Tariq Kazem) introduced the course participants to the processes of transfer, placement, and adding service among the ministry’s formations and the laws issued in this regard. He also explained the mechanism for calculating the contract service, how to disburse financial dues, and know the general balance to calculate the service. The course concluded by conducting a trial exam for the participants.
