The Directorate of Housing: organizes a course entitled (Design of roads according to quantities Civil 3D)

The Department of Planning and Follow-up / Division of Training and Development in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course on road design and according to quantities on the Civil 3D program, which is specifically related to road and bridge engineers.
The course curriculum was presented by Eng. Israa Lutfi Ibrahim from the Certification and Engineering Consultation Department at the headquarters of the Directorate on Thursday morning 11/10/2022, with the participation of a number of employees of the Directorate of Housing.
The lecture touched on several engineering axes in terms of how to enter the natural land points from the surveyor into the Civil 3D program, and how to create a surface from these points, and then create the horizontal curves of the road and create the longitudinal section of the road according to the American AASHTO specifications, and extract the tables and design drawings for the construction of the road.
The aim of the course was to enable the participants to calculate the quantities, design the road and extract the longitudinal section of the road.

Internal audit of the quality management system (QSM)

The Department of Planning and Follow-up / Division of Training and Development in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a course entitled Internal Audit of the Quality Management System (QSM) according to the requirements of the guiding specification for auditing management systems (19011:2018) for the period (16/10 until 20/10/2022).
Mr. (Ahmed Abdel-Zahra Ali / Senior Director), head of the Quality Management Division at the Directorate, gave a series of lectures that included a definition of the requirements of the international standard (ISO 19011: 2018), as well as the knowledge and skills required in the process of internal auditing of the quality management system according to the requirements of the guiding standard for auditing management systems (ISO 19011:2018).
A number of the Directorate’s employees participated in the course, and the lecturer touched on the benefits of applying the quality management system, especially since the Directorate of Housing holds the international quality certificate from the awarding company (INFINTY).
The lecturer also presented an integrated curriculum related to the basic concepts of the standard and the role of internal audit in addressing deviations and raising the efficiency of performance in general in the Directorate. The course included several training workshops on the application of the system and internal auditing
It is noteworthy that the Directorate of Housing has been organizing training and development courses, workshops and seminars to To improve the job performance of its employees in all specializations.

The Directorate of Housing: organizes a symposium entitled (Quality Management Systems and Their Effective Applications)

On Tuesday 29/11/2022, the Quality Management Division in the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, organized a symposium entitled (Quality Management Systems and Their Effective Applications).
The symposium was delivered by Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, an expert in integrated management systems for Integrated Management Systems Associates. The symposium was attended by Dr. Ismail Al-Qazzaz and Mr. Saeed Al-Nayef, consultants in the field of management systems and director of the Quality Management Department, and a number of quality representatives in the Ministry and its formations.
The doctor touched on the development of the concept of quality and what is the purpose of quality management systems, the role of standards in the application of management systems, the practical application of quality management systems and the process of evaluating matches and issuing certificates and Arabic translations “challenges”.
The objective of the seminar was to ensure effective understanding of the concept of “quality” and “quality management system” and its effective applications.
In conclusion, the senior management of the Directorate of Housing thanked the lecturer, Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, for the arrangement, methods of presentation, and the amount of valuable information that was presented during the symposium.

Directorate of Housing: Work continues on Zurbatiya housing project in Wasit Governorate

Under the supervision of the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, work continues on Zarbatiya housing project in Wasit Governorate, which is being executed by Marsa Al-Khairat and Emaar Al-Badia companies, with a completion rate of 67%, and the number of housing units amounting to (544) houses.
The complex consists of two models of residential houses, including: Type (A)= 497 residential houses, containing three bedrooms, with a building area of 186 m2, and Type (B) = 47 residential houses, containing three bedrooms with a total building area of 180 m2.
The complex also contains public service buildings (kindergarten, nursery, primary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms, an intermediate school with a capacity of 12 classrooms, market, health center, post office building, mosque with service networks (pure water and fire, rainwater network, heavy water sewage network) in addition to the external site works such as streets, sidewalks, walkways, squares, yards and afforestation.
The work is continuing by the senior management and all the staff of the Directorate of Housing, starting with overcoming all obstacles and finding appropriate solutions to accomplish the work and achieving housing units that contribute to solving part of the housing crisis that our beloved country needs.

With a completion rate of 75%, work continues on Al-Dabuni residential project in Wasit Governorate

Under the supervision of the Directorate of Housing, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, work continues on Al-Dabuni residential project in Wasit Governorate, which is being executed by Rawafed Al-Khaleej Contracting Company, with a completion rate of 75%, and the number of housing units amounting to (255) houses.
The project was described as two types of residential houses, type (A), with a number of (155) houses, with an approximate building area of (130) m2, with three bedrooms and its services, and type (B), with (100) houses, and an approximate built-up area of (119) m2, with two bedrooms and its services.
The complex also contains public services (primary school with a capacity of 18 classrooms, market, administrative building, guard room, telephone exchange with service networks (pure water and fire, rainwater drainage network, sewerage network, external and internal electrical networks, telephone, external site works from external fences, streets, sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, and landscape works (yards, rest areas, organizing gardens, afforestation, furniture, etc.).
